Philipp A. Rauschnabel, PhD, is a Professor of Digital Marketing and Media Innovation at Universität der Bundeswehr München (Munich). Prior to that, he held academic positions at University of Michigan-Dearborn (USA) and h_da. His research addresses contemporary issues in wearable technology, new media, and Augmented Reality. He frequently presents research findings on academic and industrial conferences and consults organizations in the fields of AR, media, strategy, and social research. He is among the most active academic researchers studying the acceptance and resistance of Augmented Reality Smart Glasses and published findings in leading peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Business Research, Psychology & Marketing, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, or Computers in Human Behavior.
